Hi Tom,
Thank you for the screen shot, now it makes perfect sense and it works! I have a few other things I hope you can help clarify. Here the next one: Under the Add Data feature, HamQTH works fine, but for QRZ.com, I get the following error.. " Invalid user state: email_confirm ". I'm not sure how to fix this. Any thoughts?
Thank you!
Bob

much as i love this program and all its many subleties, it needs a more definite way of creating a connection with a txcvr. You can set it up and it works perfectly but switch a part off, pull a cable or ...and it won't reconnect, no matter how much you recreate the original state. Perhaps it needs something more like the "Connect/Disconnect" checkbox in MacLogger, to initiate a connection, with the saved settings? The current "passive" method just isn't reliable.

many thanks for all your work and imagination

I don't know what MLDX is doing, but a simple Connect checkbox can be found in the TRX settings. There is also a Reset CAT menu item in the TRX menu. Unplugging a device while it has an active connection is never a good idea. It's easy to crash the com port drivers.
You should explain your scenario with more details.

Thanks a lot Tom, this is wonderful.
I have a doubt in case you can help me. Today I tried (for the very first time) to use the contest window, on the occasion of the WPX CW contest. But I don't seem to be able to save the QSOs. On the normal log window I press the enter key and the contact is saved. But In the contest window nothing happens when I press enter. I can't save the QSO even if I click with the mouse on the blue button "Save QSO".
I am using RUMlog just for logging (I haven't got any keying interface connected to my computer or radio)
I am sure I am doing something wrong, but what?
Best regards from Congo, 73

Make sure you have not selected the ESM mode.

After upgrading to 4.2, I am no longer able to click on a spot frequency in the ALL tab of the DX Spots window for a particular spot in order to QSY to that frequency. However, if I select a tab other than ALL, i.e. 20M, then I am able to click a particular spot frequency to QSY.
Is this an intentional change?

Is this an intentional change?
Definitely not!
But I can't confirm this failure. Anybody else here?
Are you talking about a 'normal' dx-spot coming from the dx-cluster?

Yes, normal DX Cluster in the DX Spots window. I have always used the ALL tab.
For example, in the attached screenshot, I used to be able to double click on 28,028 to QSY for the AM70C spot.
No longer works. I need to go to the 10M tab in this case and double click 28,028 to QSY.
Very strange.
No other changes to MacBook
MacBook used solely for logging and uploading QSOs to club log, LOTW and eQSL.
