Azimuth window background disappeared

Post by komradebob »

Recently (ok, probably a couple of OS updates ago) the background/directional information in the Az window disappeared. The only thing left is the beamwidth wedge that the antenna is pointing down.

I'm wondering if rotor just needs a recompile of a more recent OS or if I've managed to screw something up somehow.

Ideas?

Thanks!

There is an options in the Preferences to remove your own background.

You can create/use your own background just using drag and drop. See here: https://dl2rum.de/rotor/docs/en/pages/AzimuthWin.html
A good source for maps is here: https://ns6t.net/AzShadowMap/experimental.html

Tip: Use a photo editor to invert the colours, then you have two versions. One for the light and one for the dark mode.
