Dr Tom,
Since a month Rumlog just hangs, beachball all te time .\I have to reboot the computer.
No idea why.
When i kill the rumlog proces and i want to start rumlog again it doesn't start up. Need to reboot the computer. (M2 mac mini)
I have the dump if you need it.
Radio's icom7300 and icom7610 with both connected it happens.

Seems to be a driver problem. Disable CAT control and try again. Do you have any SiLabs drivers installed?

Thanks Tom,
I now unchecked CAT.
I thisnki ones installed a driver for communicating with QMX but i am not sure.
I try to look for a driver i used kextstat but did not see anything that looks like a syllabs driver or some thing like that.

I wait for my Wifi bridge so i can connect 7610 via wifi and do noyt need the cat. For now i check the behaviour with cat unchecked.

The only "thing" i could find under disabled software in the system profiler is this:

I keep the CAT disabled and see if the hanging happens again.

Nothing about CP210xVCPDriver in the application folder.
I have now the serial port set to the usb port now no hanging for a few hours ,i now set it back to Icom auto discovery and see if it will hang again.
