Moving the log file to a different folder

Unread post by k4jh »

I'd like to move the log file to a different folder (from a Dropbox folder to an iCloud folder).

Do I just need to move the .rlog file or are there additional files that need to move along?

Apple recommends not to use the iCloud or Dropbox folder for databases. Each changed bit in a database will cause a full sync cycle which results in a lot of network traffic.

Noted. But aside from that caveat, is that the only file to move between folders?

Yes, just move the database file. All logbook related settings are within this database. These settings are marked in the Preferences.
