CW Type-ahead buffer

Unread post by aa0yy »

In the CW TOOLS, the type ahead function, it seems that I can't backspace what I have typed though it has not been transmitted yet. My question is this... is that normal? no backspacing to correct my fat finger errors? Also, as soon as I hit the spacebar, what I have typed gets sent. Is that normal operation as well?

any tips would be most appreciated.

I am running on BIG SUR operating system with an M1 Chip if that makes any difference.

Thanks,
Mark

Your observations are correct, this is the way it works.

Thanks Tom, I am enjoying the program and am a new MAC users so forgive my ignorance.

I also am not a good enough typist that I can type without errors.... so this type-ahead buffer would be more useful if the backspace/delete key would function and allow me to correct my typing before being sent. Not sure if that is something that could be added but it would sure help.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas
