Transceiver CW Generated not working on Contest

Hello,

Im using the CW function generated from the Transceiver, and while I know it has different settings for normal QSO and Contest, the Contest section does not generate any code to the radio, while the normal log window does. I tried from the "CW Tools" window and it generates the code on the radio, but from the contest window, the shortcut (Function) keys does not.

Any help or suggestions?

Which trx do you use?
Make sure you are in CW mode.
Note different behavior in ESM Mode.

Im using an FT-991a. Like I said, switching back and forward between Contes and either CW or Normal Log windows behaive this way, working on the CW and Normal Log windows but not on from the contest window.

Here is a little video, hope works better to see the problem... let me know any logs or the like you might need from my end.

Oh, bad news:
The FT-991 doesn't have a controllable internal CW keyer! You are just able to play the trx internal memories. That's not sufficient for contest operation.

Ok, but in contest it does not generate the memories either. And I have the memories for contest filled as well. Maybe would not be usefull for many contest, but for calling CQ, or for contest that has fixed exchange, like RST and State... that would be usefull.
