eQSL certificate problem
Re: eQSL certificate problem
eQSL still has not fixed their certificate problem and it's getting a little bit annoying! In the mean time I'm uploading adif files to them for my outgoing QSLs but I have not been trying to check for any eQSLs that are coming in to me.
Re: eQSL certificate problem
It't unbelievable and irresponsible from eQSL. I can't understand this.
I'm curious if only RUMlog users are affected. Googling around, brings not many hits. Don't others use SSL?
You can still use this work around: http://dl2rum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=815#p3521, but it's better eQSL fixes it very soon.

Re: eQSL certificate problem
I know that at least HRD doesn't use SSL, just a straight HTTP web connection.

Re: eQSL certificate problem
Congratulations eQSL! After ca. 4 weeks they made it. RUMlog and eQSL can be used now again!

Re: eQSL certificate problem
Good news. I grilled them pretty hard on this on a couple occasions; it didn't just affect RUMlogNG, but also Aether and anyone else using eQSL who cares about security.DL2RUM wrote:Congratulations eQSL! After ca. 4 weeks they made it. RUMlog and eQSL can be used now again!
Assuming they stayed with the same certificate provider (Comodo), it should've taken only a few minutes to get a new certificate. Even in the worst case, it takes only 1-2 days. Excuses ranged from "we're working on it" to "next time he [webmaster] has to go away for so long, things might be sorted in advance".
At least the new certificate is good through 2019.
