Hi
I am trying to run RUMLOG on Yosemite 10.10.2. because I need a good Mac logging program. Hence test drive Rumlog.
I have imported my QSO's via ADIF from a windows logging program, VQLog. (all my QSOs are 6 metres)
RUMLOG however shows me that I have fewer DXCC than confirmed, than I do
It is not picking up the changed 4 new, Dutch Antilles countries , or ZS3E in Namibia way back in 1981.
I have tried to download the DXCC table, which for example does show ZS3E as Namibia in that time frame, BUT I cannot
SAVE the file. How do I update the database file for DXCC to include new and deleted countries?
I think I am not doing something correctly, would appreciate guidance.

Re: DXCC - Deleted / New Countries - Can't save DXCC
Which file you can't save?
In the RUMlog folder a an application called EditDXCC, you can check the assignments. I made the corrections for ZS3, it was used for Namibia until 1990. All Antilles should be correct in the database.
Download the attached file, copy it into your RUMlog folder and restart RUMlog.
Select all suspected callsigns in the log table and use menu-->QSO-->Recalculate DXCCs-->with zones

Hi
Ok, so it picked up ZS3E ok!
However still 4 not picked up..
PJ7LT 03-01-2002
PJ2MI 02-02-2002
PJ9EE 08-22-1981
PJ2DW 07-02-1981
Is it possible to edit the DXCC table... I tried it but could not save for some reason.

Re: DXCC - Deleted / New Countries - Can't save DXCC
All the PJs are deleted, the classic RUMlog don't track deleted. See the RUMLogNG for tracking deleted entities.
You can add easily the KG4s to the callsign exception list using the Edit DXCC tool. What you can't save? Can you post a screen shot please?

Tried RumlogNG, but it keeps throwing exceptions (with a purple background) that looks like
some fields are out of position - not sure why
I will for sure switch over. It looks very nice.
