Hi everybody! Checked all the settings but still no luck to connect to my Kenwood TS-590S ? Any ideas? Thank you, Kes.

Do you use USB or a serial interface?
Do you see the transceiver in the Port popup menu?

Here are settings I use with my TS-590 and RUMLog. It works perfectly.

TRCVR: TS-590/TS-2000
Port: cu.SLAB_serial (or something similar, can't remember exactly)
Baud: 57600
Bits: 8
Pairity: None
Stopbits: 1
Xon: unchecked
Set RTS, Set DTR: unchecked
Use CTR, Use DTR: checked

Make sure that the Baud is identical as in TS-590 settings, for USB port it's item number 62 in TS-590 menu. Default transceiver Baud is 115200 bps.
Also, please note that you can choose correct serial port only if your transceiver is connected via USB to your Mac.

Did you install serial port drivers ? If not here they are:

Actually my qrz.com info is a little bit outdated already.
I quite often start in CW contests using ~30wpm.
However open text reading is still really difficult and unless my corespondent keys with 15-18 wpm I'm having a lot of trouble to catch up.
