Bug or feature?

Unread post by g0vgs »

Hi Tom,
I logged a station this morning and the QRZ information came up, along with a map. The next station changed the information but not the map even though (as you can see in the screenshot) the locator was included from QRZ. I have noticed this before.

Also what does the 3rd QRZ window do? I understand the map and the info windows but the other one always seems blank for me.

neither, nor ....
It's an user error. :mrgreen:

You can toggle the options, check your settings:
  • Menu-->QSO-->Auto qrz.com Lookup - shows station info
  • Menu-->Maps-->Auto Station in Google Maps - shows the map
BUT, there is a known error. Sometimes, these internet based contents are not rendered correct. This is out of my control.

The 3rd window is used for QSL information.
  • Menu-->QSL-->qrz.com QSL Lookup - starts the lookup manually
  • Menu-->QSL-->Auto qrz.com QSL Lookup- starts the lookup automatically

Thanks Tom. I thought it might be me :mrgreen:

One of these days I will read through your excellent documentation instead of asking dumb questions on here. As a document writer myself I should know better :geek:

Seasons greetings to you and your family Tom.
