Hi there,

some users made me aware that there is a bug in xDAX 0.9 which prevented streaming if the audio stream was the second (or third, ...) stream requested from the radio.

This bug is fixed in the latest xDAX version 0.9.1 (available on my Blog: http://dl3lsm.blogspot.de/) so please use this version if you want to use more than one RX audio stream.

Thanks to Mike (ZL1MRC) and Burch Akin for their help in finding this.

Thanks and 73
Mario, DL3LSM

Hi there,

there are new versions of my apps available. The main addition to the apps is that they now support remote operation via SmartLink.

There are minor bug fixes as well but I did not keep a change log.

You can find the details about how to use SmartLink in the updated documentation.

The new versions are as always available on my Blog: https://dl3lsm.blogspot.de/

Thanks and 73

Hello,

I have a Flex 6600M and I use a Mac Mini for my radio activities.

I have managed to get xCAT working with RUMlogNG (one way only, entering a frequency in the Call Sign field does not move the radio), and I am quite happy with the program features, however this is a rather complicated way, and I understand that I need yet another application for the Audio, in order to be able to work digital modes.

The DAX streams concepts still elude me, must admit and I wonder if you have plans to support the FlexRadio SmartSDR 6000 series Native LAN Interface? (this is both CAT and Audio, I believe)

Tom and contributors,

Do you foresee the Flexradio 6xxx as a selectable preference in RumLogNG? Anything less may leave many of us by the wayside.

An intermediate goal could be a step-by-step procedure for obtaining the progress to-date. Perhaps this goal is a pipe dream due to time constraints of those doing the actual work.

Thanks for your contribution,
Larry, W6UB

If you want to use a Flexradio with macOS, have a look here: https://community.flexradio.com/flexrad ... -for-macos.
FlexNetCAT allows to use CAT and CW keying from RUMlogNG.

Yes, Tom and Mario, I want to use the Flexradio with my iMac, and have reviewed the flex radio community and that FlexNetCAT allows to use CAT and CW keying from RUMlog NG. What I'm looking for is "step-by-step" instructions on how to accomplish this task.

Thanks for your time,
Larry W6UB

Hello all,

Any update to the Xdax and Xcat please? I updated to Version 3 and has been stuck ever since.

On 2.4.9 Xcat/Xdax Still works, but it’s really outdated now. Hope new version arrives soon!!!

Thanks for the great software ( both rumlogng and Xcat/Xdax!!!)

Manoj,

Tom makes some great software, but he is not responsible for xCat/xDax. Those are developed and managed by DL3LSM. Any updated news on those programs can be found at https://dl3lsm.blogspot.com

Yesterday I was able to connect RUMlogNG to Flex 6xxx radios. I posted my experience over at the flex forum at

Hi all,
My Setup is Mac mini m1+flex6400+winkeyer2, and obviously SSDR OSX and RUMlogNG. I tried to use xDax and xCat in Order to use also my scheunemann morse Taste but no chance, like I did in SSDR Win10 with N1MM+ and winkeyer and wkflex app. I asked some help to Mario but no answer, I solved the Problem with SkookumMorse app, a concorrent app that does Not Need xdax or xcat. Thanks Bill Myer!
