Icom 756

Unread post by blue68camaro »

New user to RUMLogNG and New to the forum.... Hello everyone de K4PBX - Jim
I have an Icom 756 and able to communicate via USB. When I select USB, LSB or CW the radio does switch but switches to Narrow Band. As in LSB-N, USB-N and CW-N. No way I can change this since it must be in the coding??? Possible to change the code to not have it NOT go into Narrow?
For what it is worth below are the commands I use in a VB app to communicate with the 756 with CV set to 50h.

USB - TextString = "FEFE50E00601FD"
LSB - TextString = "FEFE50E00600FD"
CW - TextString = "FEFE50E00603FD"
AM - TextString = "FEFE50E00602FD"
RTTY - TextString = "FEFE50E00604FD"
FM - TextString = "FEFE50E00605FD"
ANT1 - TextString = "FEFE50E01200FD"
ANT2 - TextString = "FEFE50E01201FD"

I would also like to add that I tried every MAC logging program extensively and RUMLogerNG is heads above the rest.

Is it an IC-756 without any PRO? I will change the default filter to 1 in the next version.
