Is there a way to convert a log from the older Rumlog program or do I have to export it to an adif file and then import the adif into RumlogNG?

Check your flow control settings. As far as I know, the TS-590 uses RTS/CTS per default. When you don't see dx spots in the dx spot window, check your filter setting in the preferences under the DX-Cluster tab. BTW the 590 works fine with the same settings in the old Rumlog.....8N1 56700 RTC/CTS bu...

When turning the VFO the frequency readout in the log does not change. Should it? If I do a reset CAT the frequency will read what the radio says but still will not change with the turning of the VFO. Quite sure CAT:Serial port is set up correctly in preferences.
