Hi Bill,
This is out of top of my head as I don't have my TS-590 hooked up right now. There is A and B VFO. RUMLog seems to be able to read frequency out of A VFO. Check if you didn't perhaps switch it to VFO B. If that's not the case I can investigate a little bit tomorrow.

Re: Auto Name Qth lookup
You could use this option: Menu-->QSO-->Fill Log with HamQTH.com data. However please note that it will overwrite existing information. So if you don't want to loose any data, you should use that on QSOs without any information besides call sign.

I'm glad you've found it. It's a common problem for people starting their adventure with Macs so don't worry

Re: New User Questions
Perhaps it will be a stupid answer, however... You will not find any menu on the program scree. I'm not sure how familiar with MacOSX you are. When you run application, menu will appear on the menu strip which is located on the very top of your computer screen. If you have RUMPed in front of all oth...

Re: DX Cluster Frustration
It might be a stupid question but which port did you use for all those clusters ? WD4IXD seems to work on port 23. In RUMLog you have to use following settings: Name: Any name, makes no difference, i.e. WD4IXD Address: dxc.wd4ixd.net Port: 23 Ueser: Your username for wd4ixd cluster Password: Your pa...

Re: Can't connect to TS-590S
Hi!
Pretty well
Actually my qrz.com info is a little bit outdated already.
I quite often start in CW contests using ~30wpm.
However open text reading is still really difficult and unless my corespondent keys with 15-18 wpm I'm having a lot of trouble to catch up.

Re: Can't connect to TS-590S

TRCVR: TS-590/TS-2000 Port: cu.SLAB_serial (or something similar, can't remember exactly) Baud: 57600 Bits: 8 Pairity: None Stopbits: 1 Xon: unchecked Set RTS, Set DTR: unchecked Use CTR, Use DTR: checked Make sure that the Baud ...

Re: Cross Platform - Windows
That's a shame. I think you should give RUMLog for Win some attention. Also if it can be easily done, RUMPed4Win would be good idea. Your logging software is the best I've ever used and I have hard time using anything else :) I can bet there's more users like me. Also as your applications are really...
