RUMped 1.0.3 released
I've just uploaded a new RUMped version. Some minor changes were made in the serial port programming. Over the TRX port you have now better control. Some kinds of interfaces made trouble. The usability of all connected devices should be better now. After changing an interface or port, you do not hav...

cocoaModem Lite Interface available
Hi, Chen, W7AY has added a minimal interface to the cocoModem. Only the tuning and the waterfall display is visible, so it is easier to use on small screens. With this tiny interface wideband RTTY and PSK is possible. See http://homepage.mac.com/chen/w7ay/cocoaModem/More/Contents/Lite.html for furth...

Re: PPT stays on all the time?
Chris, please confirm that the radio control works now as well. In the locator field you have to enter your world wide locator. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_Locator_System for details. RUMped needs this information to calculate distances and bearings from your home location. There is ...

Re: PPT stays on all the time?
Do you still use the older Beta version? Do NOT mix files from two versions together in one folder. Please use only the complete latest version from here: http://www.dl2rum.de/rumsoft/RUMped.zip and move the provided file into this folder. The file MasterDat.rsd should be in the folder, when not you...

Re: Read All only reads one bank in Linux
Right, the latest none Beta (none RT) Mac version reads all banks. But after that I changed completely the algorithm to communicate with the radio. This version is still available on the web server, but the so called 'Beta' is more useful. I have to update the web site.

Matching *.csv Export Function
The idea behind RUMtrol is to use a single program only. There are a lot of features to edit and manipulate the memory banks. In my opinion it makes no sense to export the data to edit first and reimport it to upload later. But for data export to other applications, a csv export function should be e...

19 fields are working here
Can you provide an *.csv example which is not working on your system? so I can troubleshoot it.
In fact, there is only the restriction that you must have a minimum of 12 fields.

Re: Read All only reads one bank in Linux
That's right! Only the current selected bank will be read and written as well. In Icom's CI-V protocol only the memory number is provided, there is no information included about the used bank.
There should be a solution possible, but I decided to keep the things simple.
