Re: IC-705
Eureka! Thank you VERY MUCH for your help. I was focused on expecting to see something in the CAT: Bluetooth LE section. The serial port option that worked was "Bluetooth-Incoming-Port" and once selected, the logging window followed the IC-705 band, frequency and mode. Perfect! Thank you a...
Re: IC-705
Thanks for the VERY quick reply. It's too bad the iPad and IC-705 can't "talk" to each other. I'd much prefer to take it into the field than my MacBook Pro. The IC-705 and my MacBook Pro are connected via Bluetooth ... the IC-705 says connected within the Bluetooth menu (Bluetooth icon als...
IC-705
Is there a way to connect RUMlogNG (MacOS or iPadOS versions) wirelessly to an IC-705? I'd like to be able to have the app follow the radio (band, mode, freq) while in the field (e.g. POTA operations)? I've been able to have the IC-705 establish a connection to my iPad over Bluetooth, but nowhere in...

Re: Log US County entries changing ("%2C" and "%20")
I'm experiencing a similar issue as above with blanks and special characters getting "remapped" within the User_1 field. I use User_1 to document which antenna I'm using on each QSO. For example, one of the options (set up in a drop-down menu) is 71' EFW. That will become 71%27%20EFW at so...

Re: iCloud synced logbook
Yesterday, I somehow lost connectivity with all of my email accounts (they were disabled), all of my offline email folders disappeared, and although I could access my iCloud drive, System Settings showed I was logged out. I finally shut/re-started the laptop, signed-in to iCloud, rebuilt the mailbox...

iCloud synced logbook
I just opened the RUMlogNG app on my MacBook Pro and the logbook is completely empty. However, I can see the entries on my iPhone. The file on my iPhone is current as when I opened it, it updated to include the QSOs I had from last night. On the MacBook Pro, when I try selecting iCloud synced logboo...

Yes, that version of the app corrected the errors.

Log US County entries changing ("%2C" and "%20")
I'm running the latest version of RUMlogNG with the iCloud synced logbook on a MacBook Pro with macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina). I participated in the November SSB Sweepstakes and imported the QSOs from the contest log into my normal/primary log. I used QSO -> Add QSO Data -> use HamQTH.com to populate the...

Re: RUMlogNG resetting LotW status
Yes, I am currently using the iCloud synced logbook. I didn't have this issue until after I switched over (so my iPad, iPhone and MacBook Pro automatically stayed synced).

RUMlogNG resetting LotW status
After making a number of QSOs, I upload them to eQSL and LotW. I've noticed that sometimes after uploading to LotW and then eQSL, the LotW status has changed from "S" back to "W". I then have to go into those QSO records and reset the LotW status to "S". Any ideas what ...
