black & black
Hi, I've been wondering. I'm using rumlog to print avery labels, rumlogng 3.8.1 with a canon mp190 inktjet printer. The labels (avery 3474) come out perfectly, except that the text is not exactly black, but a sort of dark grey. When I set the page up for any printer (with some borderless format page...

Re: RUMlogNG Version 1.2.5
Hi, I still love rumlog, and rumlogng looks a lot better than the old version. I do have a few issues you might consider for a next release of rumlogng: - in the old rumlog Name and QTH would be filled in based on the last QSO with a station, I'd like to see that back. We're running a clubstation, s...
ic-9100
Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to add the IC-9100 (CI-V address $7C) to the list of supported rigs? And maybe... add an option to manually enter a CI-V address... I think most CI-V data relevant to rumlog is the same for all transceivers....

Log on shared folder
Hi, I have stored my log file on a (AFS) share so I can run RUMlog on whichever computer happens to be at hand (yes I really have multiple). Now, every time I start RUMlog it complains that it can't open the log file, but has no issues opening the file immediately after from the log menu. Also, I've...

Re: FreeDV mode
Hmmm,
ok, so at least there is a temp workaround. I see that adif version 3 has a 'digitalvoice' mode selection, so I guess that in the not too far future RUMlog will support this mode, which would sufficiently cover my needs.

FreeDV mode
Hi,
I just made my first QSO in FreeDV and of course I'd like to log that QSO. Unfortunately I can't find an appropriate mode from all possible options to properly reflect FreeDV. Would it be possible to add FreeDV as one of the valid options in the mode selection?

Re: callsign/j and callsign/lh
This has been a long term issue that has driven programmers crazy because many operators incorrectly use the country identifier (Prefix) as a suffix and therefore the programmers have to parse the call sign to try and overcome the prefix being used as a suffix. The result is that when a legal suffi...

Re: callsign/j and callsign/lh
Hi, I guess that all depends on the local rules. In PA country at least the JOTA station have to use the /J suffix during the JOTA. That is specified in our permit. Still, I think that any suffix can be ignored... if visiting a country you have to use a prefix (eg. me visiting Germany would be dl/pe...
