Re: KX3 (or K3) RTTY Macros

The 'normal' logbook part don't have a dedicated RTTY interface. I guess, you are not talking about the contest interface? Okay. Well, I'll stop looking for the RTTY interface. ;) I looked high and low for the RTTY interface and couldn't find it. Sorry, I used RUMlog for several years and was playi...

KX3 (or K3) RTTY Macros

I am missing something here. I cannot seem to make my KX3 transmit a macro and I cannot figure out what I'm missing. Using the KX3 Utility, I can program a macro and make it transmit in FSK D. For the macros in the KX3 controller window, I cannot seem to figure out the syntax needed. For example, I ...

RUMlogNG and SKCC

Tom, I wonder if there has ever been a request to incorporate the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC) membership into RUMlogNG. The current logger I use for that, SKCCLogger, is a very good program and the author is very responsive but it is a Windows program. Although I have it working great with Cros...

Re: "LoTW TQ8 Out..." Command Syntax Error

I have solved it.

I didn't fully understand the part about the Location must be the same in both Tqsl and RUMlog. When I re-did my Tqsl certificate, the name got changed to "Home." Once I changed that in the "LoTW Location" box in RUMlog, it worked.

Thanks,

Re: "LoTW TQ8 Out..." Command Syntax Error

I found an online translator and I have made sure that:

1. Modes&Submodes.txt is in the RUMlog directory and
2. I made sure my location was the same in RUMlog and Tqsl

I hope the translator did that correctly.

Thanks,

"LoTW TQ8 Out..." Command Syntax Error - Solved

Okay, first I *did* search the forum and found a similar issue, but it wasn't in my native language so I'm not sure what it said. I am running RUMlog 5.3.10 on my iMac. I am using an Elecraft K3/P3 for my transceiver and I updated to TQSL 2.0.3 this morning after having issues with TQSL (I suspect m...

Re: Sending to LoTW

Thanks, Tom. I'm still learning a lot about OS X having come from Windows. I didn't realize I could get the working directory by right-clicking on the icon on the dashboard. Thanks for that tip. As it turned out, the application *was* running from a directory in my Downloads directory. I was not sur...

Sending to LoTW

Using version 5.3.8 of RUMlog. When I try to upload to LoTW, I get a bouncing icon (indicating "needs attention") on the Dashboard, but no "window" showing which one needs attention. If I click on the icon, I get the following: Screen Shot 2014-07-16 at 5.26.21 AM.png If I click ...

Re: DX Cluster Frustration

Thank you for the pointers. I missed the port number. None was listed on the webpage from which I got the information; therefore, no port was entered. Once I entered the port, all worked.

Yes, I was putting the information in Preferences -> DX Cluster.
