SunSDR & FlexRadio

Similar to a ‘classic’ transceiver, RUMlog can be connected to an SDR trx for CAT control. These connections are established over the network, not via cable. You have to use the following settings in the TRX preferences:

SunSDR

Manufacturer: Others
Type: Expert El. TCI
Interface: Web Socket
For the tcp/ip address you have to enter the data from the ExpertSDR Software!

FlexRadio

Manufacturer: Others
Type: FLEX-6xxx
Interface: tcp/ip
For the tcp/ip address you have to enter the data from the FlexRadio transceiver! With use of the Discover button, you can search for a FlexRadio in your network and you can use the address data for the first found device.

RUMlog is not a SDR Software. You still need an application to operate your SDR. The build in CW keyer is supported for both types of devices.

Currently RUMlog doesn’t work correct with Multiflex!

DX-Spots

RUMlog can send colour coded dx-spots to the SDR software or direct to the radio. See Menu–>Transceiver–>Spot to Flex or Spot to SunSDR Information from the active logbook or from the open contest can be used. You can use one source only at a given time.
FlexRadio only: The Priority parameter is used when the space becomes limited on the screen. Spots with a lower priority will be dropped. Number 5 is the highest priority.
If you log a new QSO, the data af other affected shown spots (new multiplier, new DXCC, …) will not be changed.
In contest and in S&P mode found stations can be displayed as well. The Contest Band Map and the option Menu–>Contest–>QSOs to Band Map in S&P must be active.
