Internal CW Keyer |
RUMlog includes a simple CW keyer that uses the DTR or RTS signal line of a serial interface for keying. Many transceivers allow you to configure the CAT interface for this purpose simultaneously.
In the CW settings, select Serial DTR or Serial RTS as the interface and choose a specific port. The appropriate CAT port can also be used automatically. This is particularly useful when using the Icom Auto Discovery function.
The keyer can be used in the normal log for playing back memories, in the CW window, and also during contests.
The dot-to-dash ratio and weighting are adjustable. See also Menu–>CW.
