UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
Hi Tom, i want to tell you that i inserted a qso with UA9XF, callsign corresponding to Syktyvkar (Komi republic).
Tha data uploaded in automatic are not correct.
I saw that Continent is wrong because is not Eu but As for Continent award and it' s not allowed to edit it.
CQzone is not 16 but 17 even if is allowed to modify like ITU zone.
TNX for bugs fixing.
Ciao. Francesco.

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
This isn't a bug, it may be an exception. See here: https://secure.clublog.org/test.php?cal ... &minute=58
You can define your own exception in the Preferences under the DXCC tab.

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
Hi Tom, tnx for reply. I checked what you told me.
Yes i know very well how to check on ClubLog for "Call Tester" and get all the informations.
You right about that.
However ...
I open the DXCC tab and this window doesn' t have any exception inserted.
So i saw also that "Always check for invalid operations" has that flag checked and in the DXCC tab window it is write that "Rumlog use the DXCC, Prefix and Callsign Exception ...."
So I don' t know why the exception about UA9XF was not uploaded correctly in RumLogNg log after that RumLoNg asked datas to ClubLog about exception.
I can tell you also that i downloaded the file CTY.XML from ClubLog because i have the API Key.
I tried to import it from the DXCC tab preferences but the window is not populated with datas !
Please could you tell me why ?
TY for support.
Ciao.

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
You have to add your own private exceptions!I open the DXCC tab and this window doesn' t have any exception inserted.
There is no exception in Clublog. You can view it here: Menu-->Online-->Show DXCC DatabaseSo I don' t know why the exception about UA9XF was not uploaded correctly in RumLogNg log after that RumLoNg asked datas to ClubLog about exception.
Why do you have an API key?I can tell you also that i downloaded the file CTY.XML from ClubLog because i have the API Key.

Here you can export and import your own private exceptions only!

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
Hi TOM, i have an API key because i asked it long time ago to Michael to test my macros.
In this way i can download the CTY.XML file and inside there is informations about UA9X, see here under ...
<prefix record='9113'>
<call>UA9X</call>
<entity>EUROPEAN RUSSIA</entity>
<adif>54</adif>
<cqz>17</cqz>
<cont>AS</cont>
<long>50.82</long>
<lat>61.67</lat>
</prefix>
So, i thought that RumLog asked this informations via Internet to ClubLog, isn' t it ?
You right about Menu-->Online-->Show DXCC Database (no exceptions) but try to check for Prefixes, you will find UA9X informations.
OK for the own private exceptions.
So, the solution in my personal opinion is to check for prefixes after exceptions on the ClubLog Database under Menu-->Online-->Show DXCC Database.

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
It seems, you haven't understood how RUMlog works. It uses already the Clublog database! No need to check it manually. You have just to update the dxcc database frequently using the Online menu. So, the solution in my personal opinion is to check for prefixes after exceptions on the ClubLog Database under Menu-->Online-->Show DXCC Database.

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
Hello, I uploaded frequently the database Tom but ... forget all.
Now, try to input a qso with UA9XAA callsign and watch what happens.
Continent and Waz zone are wrong.
This is not an exception, this is only a check prefix to extract correct datas.
Info datas are on ClubLog.
Let me know.
Ciao.

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
What are you looking for?
UA9X is Europain Russia. When you are sure there is a station in Asia, make your own exception!

Re: UA9XF ... wrong qso datas
No, you are wrong Tom.
UA9X is European Russia for DXCC !
UA9X is Asia continent for WAC and NOT Eu ! Don' t mix DXCC award with WAC award ! (see the picture)
UA9X is WAZ 17 confirmed by Russian Prefix callsign or WAZ Award (http://www.cq-amateur-radio.com/cq_awar ... _list.html) and NOT any exceptions ! (see the picture)
UA9X is ITU 20, a little bit difficult to locate (based on WWlocator)
So you need to fix the bug in your CALLSIGN CHECK PREFIX or download datas correctly form ClubLog as you said in the PREFERENCES -> DXCC Tab (see the picture)
Ciao and let me know.
IV3TMM Francesco.
p.s. i put R23RRC in my log ... all datas are wrong even if in ClubLog datas are OK. Don' t tell me to input my own exceptions, because in this way ClubLog datas are useless !
