Can't open log file anymore

I'm currently on OS X El Capitan and I tried opening my .rlog file back on version 2.3. It said "The document “Log.rlog” could not be opened. RUMlogNG cannot open files of this type." Then I noticed there's a version 2.4 out so I upgraded and I get the same error message. I have no idea what happened.

The only way to open a log file is via Menu-->Logbook-->Open while the Main Window is open and has the focus.
Do you have taken this way?

Oh, ok. Well here's another weird thing. When I try to open it like that, it makes the Mac "bong" sound and then it doesn't do anything. The "open" button is not greyed out. Also, the default window that it opens says, "The file doesn't exist." on the top of it.

Can you e-mail me the file? I will have a look on it.

OK it started working again randomly. I'm able to open to file.
