LoTW error message

Unread post by W0DJC »

Hi Tom,

I tried to use LoTW Out this morning, and RUMlogNG returned the attached error message

Can't use tqsl:

The file couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format.

RUMlogNG Version 1.2.5 (56)

OS-X 10.10.5

tqsl v2.1.2 build (v2.1.2)
Trusted QSL Library v2.5
Configuration data v2.10

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Don

Do you have made changes to your tqsl application? Maybe an update?

This error means, RUMlogNG is not allowed to start the tqsl application due to a sandbox restriction. Go to the RUMlog preferences and reset your path to the tqsl app.

Tom,

I did update my tqsl app, but not until I had the problem trying to use LoTW Out. I thought that perhaps I had to update to make it work.

I tried to reset my path to the tesl app, but the problem persists after doing so.

Today is the first day I have had the problem. Last time I used it was back in March of this year.

Tom,

I reset "Select path to .tqsl folder" and it now works.

It isn't a new path, it has never changed, but for some reason, it now works.
