RUMlog 3.4

RUMlog 3.4 with new features is available:

• eQSL support added
• Locator field added (Grid Square)
• Growl notifications added

Very important note
In 3.4 the database structure was changed. When you open a log at the first time in 3.4, this will be done automatically. Before you start RUMlog 3.4, back up first your existing logfiles! Once a log database file is modified, you can not read it with RUMlog prior 3.4.

eQSL
eQSL works in a similar manner as the LoTW. Make your settings below the LoTW/eQSL tab in the preferences. For the download you can manually import an ADIF file or RUMlog can interrogate the eQSL server. For eQSL upload RUMlog creates an ADIF file, which you have to upload yourself. Use the QSL menu for eQSL operations.

Locator Field
For each QSO you can enter now the station's locator. When the locator is known, in the station info box the exact heading and distance will be presented, while in the DXCC info box the default country location is used for the computations. During a LoTW Download the locator will be added when the "Use QSO details" option is set and this information is available.

Growl
Growl can you notify about DX Alerts. Select the options below the DX Alert tab in the preferences. For Growl see http://growl.info/about.php
