Okay, first I *did* search the forum and found a similar issue, but it wasn't in my native language so I'm not sure what it said.
I am running RUMlog 5.3.10 on my iMac. I am using an Elecraft K3/P3 for my transceiver and I updated to TQSL 2.0.3 this morning after having issues with TQSL (I suspect my certificate had expired). After downloading TQSL and requesting a new certificate, I put TQSL in the RUMlog folder and when trying to send my log to LoTW using the "LoTW TQ8 Out..." command I get:
"Command syntax error" <OK>
followed by:
.tq8 file not found <OK>
As I said, I searched the forum but couldn't understand what I found. If it's in the manual, I couldn't find that information.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joel - W4JBB

Re: "LoTW TQ8 Out..." Command Syntax Error
I found an online translator and I have made sure that:
1. Modes&Submodes.txt is in the RUMlog directory and
2. I made sure my location was the same in RUMlog and Tqsl
I hope the translator did that correctly.
Thanks,

Re: "LoTW TQ8 Out..." Command Syntax Error
I have solved it.
I didn't fully understand the part about the Location must be the same in both Tqsl and RUMlog. When I re-did my Tqsl certificate, the name got changed to "Home." Once I changed that in the "LoTW Location" box in RUMlog, it worked.

Just want to affirm that this works! I had to renew my TQSL certificate when my computer died, and the station location description was changed. Fixed it in the LOTW screen of Preferences and that fixed it!
