LoTW Problems

Unread post by K6LE »

Tom,

It looks like the ARRL decided to change the address for downloading LoTW QSL's.

So, the present set up for "LoTW in..." doesn't work.

Are you aware of this? And/or is there a patch to change the download address?

TIA,

They seem to have made further changes, and p1k.arrl.org now redirects to lotw.arrl.org, I just tried to download from within RUMlog and it worked correctly.

Yes, working fine now.

Too bad they handled it the way they did and left a lot of people (I also follow the DXKeeper forum) scrambling.

Anyway, it's fixed and hopefully Tom slept right through it! :)

Hi,

I don't know what happened.
Yesterday local evening the Error message was "Document moved permanently" and the link to "lotw.arrl.org" was shown. The official ARRL documentation was still pointing to "p1k.arrl.org". I wanted to change the program code, but I was wondering to see a comment of mine, that the same addresses were swapped before 5 years ago in the other direction. So I decided to go to bed first.

This morning now, both addresses are working! I will wait and observe it further.

Still working fine this morning.

Looks like the IT wizards at LoTW changed servers without making sure the re-direct worked.

At least it's fixed and all is good!
