IC-705 integration

Unread post by n0aw »

I connected my phone to my IC-705 via Bluetooth and got CAT to auto fill in the band/frequency/mode information. That was cool.

Later, I opened RUMLog2Go to use manually. The IC-705 tab is still active, and shows that it’s not connected, but the log tab seems to be trying to pull from that connection, rewriting what I type in with blanks. I couldn’t use the app and had to use iOS Notes instead. :(

For the life of me, I could not figure out how to make this go away, nothing jumped out at me in the UI to disable this, and it’s still doing it.

Does anyone know how I can turn it off?

Thanks,

Tnx for the hint, I have to fix that. Kicking the app out of the memory and a RUMlog restart should fix it as well.

I appreciate that, Tom. It looks like it works okay after a restart as long as I don’t click the IC-705 tab. Thanks for making such a good mobile logging app, I really love the pileup mode for park activations.
