end time same as start time

Unread post by hanz »

Dr Tom,

Noticed today, when i add a call in the callsign box and i press tab and go back to the call sign box or by mouse or shift tab and i save the qso end and start time are the same.
Does it mean i should nver save a qso while the cursor is in the callsign box?

You gave the correct answer.
The QSO start time resets always, when you leave the callsign field. During saving a QSO, the callsign field becomes inactive and this triggers the change of the QSO start time.
