How to capture Band without entering frequency

Unread post by photogonal@gmail.com »

I see that the ADIF field for <Band> is automatically identified once you enter the frequency. For instances when QSOs only need identify the band, how can you do so without entering a frequency? Thanks!

You can't, not in the 'normal' logbook. It's possible in the contest module.

Ok, thanks. I opened the contest module, selected 20m, then exported as ADIF file. I reviewed ADIF file and it inserted Frequency:14.000. Is it mandatory that you create frequency? If yes, then I don't need to use contest module, I just should enter 14.000 for frequency and 20m will automatically be created. I don't think I made any progress here, full circle, haha.
