Creating contests

Hi,
I have just created a contest for tonights RSGB 80m sprint. Nice and easy (and thanks for a great program in contest maker!). The received field on this contest is serial plus name. I have rst plus serial plus a fixed string set on RX and I have unticked numbers only. It works fine but I cannot space the name from the RST. Would it be possible to have an additional box for this in the log? Also, I have put in a name for the fixed part but it does not make a heading in the log unless I have missed something? Is this only done in the database?

OK, more on this as I am working it out. I cannot enter spave between the received serial and the name when I am working live. I have to edit each one manually. Am I missing something? Of course if I enter space from the RX report field, it toggles me back to the callsign field.

Try this template:

RGSB 80m Sprint.plist

It works for ma as expected.

I still cannot get the space in Tom. How are you inserting the space in the RX Num field please? If I hit space, it returns me to the callsign input field.

ps Out of interest here is the plugin I did for the contest, complete with Cabrillo output. I should also say that I am using v2 beta 27 and contest maker 0.9.0.

It seems you are not up to date.
Download here the latest (Beta 30): http://www.dl2rum.de/rumsoft/RUMpedBeta.zip

Yep, that did it :) My plugin file works fine and creates the correct cabrillo output.
