How does "QSL QR Code Scanner" work?

Unread post by James »

Interesting ...
but there is no documentation about it, neither in the help nor in the forum to be able to use it...

Is it any exchange service for QSL images linked to QR Code?

The scanner can capture your incoming paper QSL cards. After scanning the QR code, RUMlog (on the Mac) accepts this QSL without further action. No need for entering datas manually and searching the QSO in the log.
I made this for demonstration only since very few cards have a QR code printed. The IARU has had the idea for a world wide standard. It seems there is no more interest. So the German Radio Club DARC made its own standard. You can find the code on cards printed by the DARC print service.
