Image in Station Info Box

Unread post by James »

When you select Hamqth.com, the image is always displayed, even if it is a random one from hamqth.com, in which case I select QRZ.com but the image is never displayed when the correspondent has an image. Why?

Obviously, I am registered in both sites and it would be good to see the image of the correspondent, if not you have to double click on the callsign to open the browser with qrz.com ... a bit cumbersome.

Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Can you show us a screen shot of the full qrz.com result window with an example?

Yes, of course ... about yourself, you have a header image on both sites.
You can see that for QRZ it does not show it.

Thanks Thomas.

You have to scroll down! I could bet, there you can read Non subscriber.

Yes I know.

If I enter my callsign I also get "Non-subscriber" and I pay religiously to QRZ. And like me, other radio amateurs.
I'm an xml subscriber, at least this first year ...

Really, what does "Non-subscriber" mean and what effect does it have on that Rumlog window?

If I make the XML request for your callsign, it returns the URL of the image, among other data without any problem, being your "non-subscriber"...

Code: Select all

<image>
https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.qrz.com/m/dl2rum/DL2RUM_QSL_jpeg.jpg
</image>
<imageinfo>510:799:84368</imageinfo>
:?:

Thanks again.

"Non-subscriber" means, you are not a xml subscriber! Don't blame RUMlog, this is what qrz returns. RUMlog is just showing the information from qrz.com. Do you have changed your account data in the last 24 hours?

At no point do I blame Rumlog, Thomas.
I'm just looking for an answer.
No, I haven't changed anything since 16/09/20, that's what QRZ tells me.

Leave it alone, it doesn't matter, it's just an image.

No, it's not just an image, a lot of data are missing.

According qrz.com EA3HRE is a xml subscriber. In RUMlog do you use this account? It's really a miracle for me.
