"?" appears in Band column | Bug?

Unread post by photogonal@gmail.com »

When I save a QSO, it appears the program is not translating the frequency to a band entry value. Instead, it inserts a "?" in Band column.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

A ?? indicates an out of band condition, the frequency is outside of your specified band edges.

7253 Khz was not specified by me to be an out of band condition. How might I change the default?

Preferences-->QRGs
You should see and read carefully Menu-->Help for the fundamentals.

I entered preferences, QRGs, and changed the 40m band edge to 7300. I then re-entered the frequency in the QSO, then saved QSO, which lead to the removal of the "?". All fixed! :-)

I had previously searched the menu for help but could not find a solution. Thanks for your help! I gather the default band edge for 40m applies for some countries. 7300 is the band edge for Canada.

Thanks again!
