LoTW QSO is not in log

Unread post by EA4OR »

Hi to all,

I have downloaded QSOs from LoTW and I see that one is in red and it tells me that it is not in the log. If you click on the callsign you can see behind in my log that this qso is in my log with the same date, time, band and mode (photo attached)

What am I doing wrong ? why is it in red?

Tks in advance

Hi Tom,

Yes, you are right, the time is not the same, there is a difference of 2 minutes.

What is your maximum tolerance time for a qso confirmed via Lotw? equal or less than 2 minutes?

If the ARRL (LoTW) accepts 30 minutes as a maximum tolerance, could we accept the same here?

Tks in advance

There is no tolerance allowed. When your workflow is correct then there is never a time difference.

Hi Tom,

Could you be more specific, what am I doing wrong in my workflow? Why my workflow is not correct?

The uploaded QSO shows 10:55, but 10:57 is in the log. Why do you have changed the time?

Tom, I haven't changed the time of my QSO after uploading it.
That doesn't make any sense, what can I gain by making a two minute change.

The download from LoTW shows always the time you have uploaded. Not the QSO time received from the dx station!
Do you use multiple logging applications?

Tom,

No, I don't use multiple logging applications, I am happy with RUMlogNG ;)
It's only happened to me once, if it happens again I'll tell you.

Tks for your support
