saving log files

Unread post by K6UJ »

Installed RumLog on my new Macbook. I don't understand how to create and save a log file. Tried and when I click on Logbook then recent, nothing comes up.

I have it working now with a saved logfile. Thanks Tom
What is the right way to close RumLog and save the logfile.

There is no need for a save. All changes are written in real time into the database.
To exit use Menu-->RUMlogNG-->Quit RUMlogNG.

Tom,
I did something wrong evidently.
When I open RunLog, the logbook file opens up, which is the last one I used, the path is correct in the title bar for the log file. But the QSO data is blank. When I finished RumLog, I clicked on quit. I thought the file would be saved. What am I doing wrong ?
Should I delete and reinstall RumLog ?

You should post a screen shot after you have entered a QSO. A reinstall shouldn't fix anything.
