I am getting into SOTA at the moment. Currently I log on paper using the FLE format, copy into the FLE software and export ADI and CSV files for import into RumLogNG and upload to sota.org.uk. I'd like to simlify this by using rumlog2go. I'd be using my iPhone.
What is stopping me is the keyboard that is presented on the iPhone when in pileup mode.
Typically, I will be holding a microphone in one hand and logging with the other. Thus, I need to be able to log with a single hand - i.e. one finger It would be so much easier if the on-screen keyboard was simplified to be A-Z, 0-9, plus '/' and '-'. After all, all I need to enter is callsign, RST and (maybe) SOTA_REF (assuming S2S), LOCATOR and NAME.
Is this possible?

Well, well well. It never occurred to me that it might be something that could be set from outside the app. Thanks for the pointer.
