support for microHAM USB II

Unread postby w6dlf » Mon 26. Nov 2007, 20:10

I am unable to control my 7000 using RUMtrol7K through my microHAM USB PC interace. Regardless of RUMtrol settings the SQL (squelch) is set as soon at the program initiates. Is anyone using microHAM USB successfully with RUMtrol and if so, what are your settings?

Many thanks,
Dave

Using a microHAM interface on a Macintosh is not supported yet. The microHAM is not just an interface, special drivers are needed.
Maybe it works under Windows, I have no info yet.

Actually I'm using it with Windows XP. Yes it takes drivers because it is creating virtual COMM ports for access via USB
microHAM might loan you one for testing.

Hi Dave,

I have a loan interface here, but the problem is I have no Windows computer here to test.
Try first to deselect all checkboxes in the preference window. When this does not help, connect only the control cable to the TRX and power the interface from an external source.
