Unread post by wa2bfw »

Can anyone help me with configuring RUMped with a Yaesu FTdx3000 and micorKEYER II?
I can open up the microkeyer window and set preferences there. But There is no preference for the FTdx3000.
So I am not getting radio control or reading of frequency.
Any able to help me out.
Tnx in advance

Please try the FT-2000 setting. This should work.

Tom,
Using the FT-2000 rig setting kind of works. It worked well enough to get me through the ARRL 160m contest. But I do notice a few things that make me hesitant to use it for bigger contests. The program recognizes when I change bands, but it does not recognize mode changes, which probably won't happen in any contest anyway but I thought you might like to know. It also does not record the actual frequency, and this is something that I will definitely need for the bigger contests.
Finally, is the cocoa modem solution the only one for the digital modes? What about FLdigi support? any chance of that.

RUMped and cocoaModem as well have reached the end of life. You should consider to update: https://itunes.apple.com/app/rumlogng/id964454561?mt=12
