Peculiar problem

Unread post by TF3EO »

I recently had a QSO with YO8ANT with my K3 hooked up with RUMlogNG. The program added the correct frequency with the QSO (10.108,1mHz). But after several seconds and just before I hit the ENTER button the Frequncy changed to ???? (see attachment: RUMlogNG-problem-I.jpg)

By manually entering the above QSO and hitting the ENTER button, the QSO is saved but the BAND is indicated by ?? (see attachment: RUMlogNG-problem-II.jpg)

Am I doing something wrong?

(after deleting (and entering) the QSO for the 4th time I deleted my most recent QSOs by mistake as well, I did not realize that until too late)

You should check your 30m band settings in the preferences under the QRGs tab.
Further make sure, you have set the baud rate to the highest available. Do you use the K3 Control window?

No I was not using the K3 Control Window at that time.

Problem is solved, the QRGs for 30m was set to 10.135 so I changed ti to 10.100 and now it is fine.
