Feature Request: "Lite" Mode for portable operation

Unread post by vk7ben »

Hi Tom,

Loving RUMlog2Go to be used in a portable station. It's the only logging software out there on iOS devices that has a GUI that is clean and polished in my opinion.

One thing I would like to suggest is in the settings having a toggle switch to enable a "lite" version of the input fields that is more useful for portable operation. Items such as CQ Zone, ITU Zone, State, IOTA, QSL Manager, Locator & QSL send/receive do not typically lend themselves towards things you fill out during a portable operation (unless under certain conditions like specific contests). Being able to switch on/off the visibility of each user field would be great too.

What you achieve is an interface that is quick to tab through when portable, and which you then export to your main logging app later to fill out anything else when you have access to the data.

Hi Ben,

The this kind of interface is available for the iPhone only. For the iPad you can just ignore all the not required fields. I don't see an advantage.
