I've been using RUMlog for well over a year with a 2010 era MacBook Air with no problems. I recently relocated the shack and decided to relegate my mid 2007 iMac to the logging and K3 control feature of RUMlog. When I initiate RUMlog and the TRX1, it keys the transmitter and all the front panel keys are disabled. My only way to fix this is to disconnect the USB connection, or power off the K3. I'm using the latest version of OSX, and RUMlog 5.3.7. I have an identical preferences settings for RUMlog in both the MacBook Air and the iMac, and the MacBook Air continues to interface with the K3 with no issues.

Check your flow control settings. The K3 don't need any. It seems you have configured your K3 to switch PTT for a flow control line. A screen shot of your settings would be helpful.

K3 menu was set for PTT Key For OFF RTS. Once is reset to OFF OFF, all is fine. Thanks....73 Tom K4AEN

Please x-check your RUMlog settings! There must be a reason why the RTS line is high.
