K7PT http error: 302

Unread post by K3DCW »

Started getting this error message yesterday when starting up; obviously related to the auto-download of the K7PT file.

Anyone else seeing this?

302 error started here randomly for 3 days ago. Seems to be a server error. I was not able yet to track this down. Few seconds later, it works fine always.

Good to hear. I know that it is a redirect error, but other than that there isn't too much to go on. I'm sure it will either work out or get fixed.

Thanks for the feedback

I was able to read the traffic when the error occurred. The server just responses with an error 302, nothing else. Trying one second later, it works fine. Then I have to wait ca. 30 minutes to get the error again. It seems only RUMlog is affected. In a web browser or in another new application ( ) it works without any problems.
Currently I'm testing a version where the error 302 is ignored and the datas are requested again one second later. Also I removed the message box for K7PT errors for users running RUMlog 24/7.

I let you know.

I have also been experiencing this. Do you have to manually re-download the K7PT log somehow, or does RUMlog automatically do that? (If it's manual, I couldn't figure out how to initiate the K7PT retry.)
Thanks,

When selected, RUMlog downloads the K7PT database after start up and later on every 4 hours. When you get the error, just quit RUMlog and restart it again. The download will work at the second startup! The K7PT data change every few days only, so no panic.

Currently I'm in touch with Chuck, K7PT.

I haven't got another feedback from Chuck yet, but it seems the problem is gone on my side. Anyone else?

I haven't seen the error in the last couple days either, so it looks like the problem is solved.
