ARRL SSB Sweepstakes with Rumped?

Hi,
Anyone have any luck or thoughts about using rumped for the ssb Sweepstakes this weekend? I don't see anything in the forums and I can't find an option for this contest when creating a new log.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Your exchange is based on an ARRL radiogram header and has five parts:
Serial – the number of this contact in the contest (1st, 10th, 121st, etc)
Precedence – your category abbreviation as described above (A, B, M, Q, S, or U)
Your call sign Check – the last two digits of the year in which you were licensed (i.e. – 02 for 2002)
ARRL Section – the abbreviation for your ARRL or RAC section

I added this contest as plugin. Some minor changes in the RUMped and ContestMaker applications were required, so please download the full package:

As far I understood, you have to send your own call sign as part of the control number. But it will not be written into the Cabrillo log file. So do not enter your call (or the other call) into the Control TX/RX control number fields.

Thanks for the plugin to get me started; it makes it a lot easier to understand when you have an example.

I did some initial tests and made some minor changes to the attached file to adjust the cabrillo format and corrected points for 160 was 0 for other continent; I made it two like the rest.

I can't get the multiplier to work correctly. I always get an error that says the multiplier seems incorrect. I am guessing it is in the logic you added to define the "last word" of the control number matching with the list???

The Multipliers are working fine here. You have to enter all control number parts separated by a space and the section must be the last one. I.e.: 008 X 44 EWA
Please check if the multiplier list was loaded. Go to Menu-->Window-->Multies (RT-Text)

BTW, in ContestMaker you have selected the ARRL Section list twice, pse deselect one, otherwise all multipliers are shown twice.

Still not working. See attached screen shots. The multipliers are loading.

I putted version Beta 36 into the download directory, but Beta 37 is required! Here are the correct files, you have to exchange RUMped.app only:

BTW, you can switch off the Multi Check under the Multiplier Lists Tab in ContestMaker.

I worked the contest with it and all is well. A couple of small errors found that I wanted to share;

The section list has two or and no org
The section list seems to be missing WWA and MAR

The QSO spacing needs to be edited to allow for 4 digit serial numbers.

I think I can make QSO changes locally but sure about the section codes and how to do it in a way to get back into the master source.

You can edit the section codes in ContestMaker under the Multiplier List tab. Load the plug in, make the changes and save it again. Restart RUMped. To count the previously missing multipliers you have to bring the applicable QSOs into the Edit Mode.
In the Main Window:

• Select the QSO line
• Menu --> QSO --> Edit
• Press 'Save'

In the Full Log Window:

• Select the QSO line
• Press 'Save'

This is useful to calculate your score only, Scoring is not included in the Cabrillo output file.
