See here the screencast in original 1440*900: 10 Minutes, 156 MB
http://dl2rum.de/rumsoft/VP2MUM_30m-RTTY-org.mov

Here the same, but in lower quality: Ca. 10 Minuten, 61 MB
http://dl2rum.de/rumsoft/VP2MUM_RTTY.mov

See here only one QSO http://dl2rum.de/dl2rum/dl1ez.mov

The click buffer is an amazing feature and saves a lot of time in a pile up. The QSOs were taken from VP2MUM, 30m RTTY at 13-November-2009 23:18z

See here the function of the amazing aural monitor in cocoaModem using the fixed tones option: http://dl2rum.de/files/Aural_3.mov
The aural monitor is switched off during 2:50 and 7:20 playing time.
This recording was made during my 9X0TL operation in 2010.

I used an Elecraft K3 transceiver and an external soundcard. The TRX worked in split and the IF bandwidth was set to 2 kc.

The used computer is a MacBook Pro, running 10.6. You may have noticed the high processor workload. It comes from the screen capturing, not from cocoaModem nor from RUMped.

  • Make sure, you have selected "cocoaModem Wide RTTY" as interface in the RUMped RTTY preferences
  • Set the mode to RTTY
  • Toggle on the option Menu-->RTTY-->Show Tuning Aid
