Just wanted to say thank you for getting on the "Dark Mode" wagon with Mojave. Rumlog looks absolutely fantastic in dark mode, beautiful. Changes the entire look and feel of it in my opinion.

Tnx!

I've just uploaded 4.0.1: http://dl2rum.de/RUMlogNG/RUMlogNG.zip
It fixes some problems with audio input devices.

Thanks for the update Tom. When selecting RUMLog- Preferences in 4.0 and clicking on an item, I get the beach ball. Have to force quit to exit the program.

Same in 4.0.1.

Other program functions seems to be fine as I use them.

Running under mac0S High Sierra 10.13.3. mid-2011 mac mini, so no upgrade to Mojave.

Thanks and 73 de David KT5V

Sounds not good David.
I've noticed this too, even under Mojave. I made few changes and my hope was this fixes it.

Do you have it sporadic (like I have had) or always when you open the Preferences?

Hallo,

macOS 10.14 Mojave

I refer to issue "beach ball on prefs window", all on MBP Retina, 13", late 2013 / Mojawe 10.14
Installed (Update by App Store) RumLog NG V4.0.1 .
Gave the program a try right after the update looks really nice and i like the "regular" windows for QRZ information much better than those
"dropdowns" in the earlier versions.
I checked the settings, looks all fine, however i got the spinning "beach ball" right after opening the preferences window.
and RumLogNG showed "does not answer/react" in the process overview.
So i killed RumLogNG manually, logged out from my account and logged in again after a few seconds.
Opened RumLogNG again -> OK, opened RumLogNG's prefs from menu -> OK, NO spinning beachball.
Waited about a minute, checked some settings, i.e. for my LotW account, closed prefs window, ended RumLogNG.
Waited about 30 seconds, did procedure described above again, NO spinning beachball when opening
prefs window, all parameters accessible, program reacts normal (no issues during this quick check).
So on my end it looks like logging out and in again did the trick for me, YMMV...
Thanks for a new, nice looking version of RumLogNG, 73s and cheers, thomas [DF1HX]

I can see the beachball now also from time to time. It's definitely caused by the Phone setting (sound card). I'm working on it.
