IC-7300 and WSJT-X

Unread post by M0CLH »

Using the radio's USB connector for both CAT control (via RUMLogNG) and USB Audio CODEC works fine for the data mode program Fldigi. When trying to use the same configuration for WSJT-X, CAT control is fine BUT nothing seems to activate the PTT and no power is output. Any ideas please?

I realize this is an old post, but can you tell me, are you using parallels to run DX Commander?

Is it still working for you?

The best way I could get it to work with all 3 running, RUMLogNG, WSJT-X and JT-Bridge was to setup WSJT-X with Ham Radio Deluxe set as the rig, Network Server: 192.168.0.15:7809. I have HRD running on my PC. I don't like doing it that way, but it is a workaround. I can use split operation in WSJT-X that way too.

When I try to use DX Lab Suite Commander as the rig in WSJT-X I get a connect error "Failed to connect to DX Lab Suite Commander. Connection refused".
