Re: Contest parameters
The addition of the contest facility is wonderful. I wonder if you could add a 'generic' contest template that just allows a serial number (and possibly also a selectable option for another field, for example a locator code, or district, or age, or whatever). This would enable the programme to be us...

Re: Rumlog 5.3.8 and Solar Terrestrial Data
I'm also finding the solar terrestrial data window no longer works. Closing the window & re-opening it doesn't help. just a blank window with a question mark top centre. It's always worked fine for years & I assumed there was some configuration problem on my side, but it appears others are s...

Re: Contest Definition Files, Contest Maker
One point I've noticed on RTTY with the K3 is that the K3 internal RTTY decoder is often better than cocoamodem. I find I am reading the received info off the K3 display and not the RX window on RUMped. Would it be possible to have the K3 internal modem as an option for both TX and RX within RUMped?...

Re: jt65 and other digital modes
Under the QRG/Modes tab in preferences, you can select the digital modes you want. JT65 is one of many options. Just select all the modes you use.

Feature Request
Is it possible to add a K3 TX / CocoaModem RX, or even a K3 TX / RX option for PSK31 on the K3? This is already implemented for RTTY & it would be good for PSK as an option also. Especially on the MacBooks, there is a combined audio / in out port, so it makes interfacing much simpler if the K3 i...

Re: Corrupt Entries in Log Crashes RUMLog
Hi Tom,
Many thanks for the returned file. It all looks OK now. I'll avoid the cbr import in the future & keep to adif as you recommend.
Excellent support for an excellent programme!

Corrupt Entries in Log Crashes RUMLog
After importing a Cabrillo file into my master log, I have about 200 QSOs which are all corrupt at the end of my log. I presume the cbr file was corrupt somehow but the data still imported. The dates are all 08-01-0001 and there is nonsense in most of the fields. Unfortunately, whenever I click on a...

Re: RUMped version 3.1
A second vote of thanks to Tom!
I'm using version 3.1 in DXpedition mode with my temporary GR4FSU call and the Elecraft K2. All working fine on my iMac.

First Contest using RUMped!
I used RUMped for the first time in a contest last night, the RSGB 80M CC. It worked perfectly and I'm very impressed with the layout and control of the K3. I particularly like the ESM implementation which I used both in run and S&P modes & it seemed to always be set to send the correct mess...

Wow - that was really quick! Many thanks indeed; I really appreciate your work for the hobby!
I'm always a little nervous about making suggestions in case it is taken as a criticism, which is absolutely not what is intended, so thanks again.
