Considerations for using RUMlog2Go

Thinking about using RUMlog2Go. Been a RUMlogNG user for years. I dont think I will use the logging features too much but I would like to be able to use the DX spot filters and alarms that I have setup in RUMlogNG on my mac. Id like to be able to see these in real time from my iPhone and or iPad, es...

ICOM 9700 - Load Memory from File

I am trying to load the 2M Memories on the ICOM 9700. There is a button on the 2M Memories page that says "Load All From File" but I cant find any description of how the file should be formatted. I tried to use the "Save All To File" button but I could not read the file it create...

Re: Icom 7610 CI-V address conflict

I am now running the latest version (5.6.5 build 501) of rumlogNG and still have the same issue. Tom, it would be nice if the CI-V address could be set in preferences as my THP amp only listens on 5Ch. Perhaps you would consider this requirement in a future release. You could default it to the ICOM ...

Icom 7610 CI-V address conflict

Im trying to get RUMlogNG 5.4.1 (473) OS X (10.13.4 High Sierra) to communicate with my ICOM 7610. Initially, I simply selected CAT and it worked FB. However, in order to get my Tokyo Hypower amp (HL 1.5KFX) to automatically change bands, I needed to change the CI-V address to 5Ch in the 7610 config...

Re: DX Cluster terminal settings gone

Would have been more effective if I would have read it BEFORE the upgrade. That way I could have taken note of the clusters I was using. 8-)

DX Cluster terminal settings gone

Upgraded to latest version/build (5.4.1/473) this morning. So far everything OK except, my saved DX Cluster Terminal nodes were erased. One incomplete setting called "Kiel" was inserted but as it was incomplete, a connection could not be made. Not a big deal, except I forget which nodes I ...

Re: Filter DX Spots - Exclude Digital Modes

Ah! Understood. Interesting approach. So long as folks adhere to the band plan, this works. Thanks.

Re: Filter DX Spots - Exclude Digital Modes

Tom, Would you please be more specific? Are you referring to the QRGs tab in preferences?

Filter DX Spots - Exclude Digital Modes

I would like to suppress all digital mode spots showing up in the DX Spots window as I only operate phone and CW. In the DX Cluster Preferences tab, I have selected only CW and Phone. I have left Data unchecked. Unfortunately, most spots for digital modes are showing up in the cluster with the Mode ...

Re: RUMlogNG version 4.2

I did some experimenting to try to further understand this issue... I tried my MacBook Air which also runs Sierra but is not normally used for logging. I installed RumlogNG 4/2 build 316 and I could not repeat the problem. However, after experimenting with my daily shutdown procedure, I can now make...
