Re: viewing qrz.com
+1 Bob's idea! I have been playing with this the last couple days. As you know, you can use a menu option to open a "call sign lookup" in a QRZ browser window each time a call is typed into RUMlog and the tab key is hit. So there are two reasons why I don't like this. First, I only have so...

Re: Sluggish behavior/slow to respond
I was able to get rid of the F4 key problem by going into System Preferences and assigning a keyboard shortcut to the RUMlog/RUMped menu item(s) for F4. Now it overrides whatever/however it was assigned to paste clipboard contents.

Re: viewing qrz.com
This is something I would like to see as well. I think it would require us being subscribers to QRZ in order for it to work, though. I'm not subscribed right now, so I can't play with any settings to see what happens. I did find out that if you ping the QRZ website with call sign requests it will &q...

Sluggish behavior/slow to respond
Hello! I've been using RUMped this weekend in the ARRL 10m contest. I've noticed some sluggish behavior that I don't remember experiencing before. 1) F-keys are slow to repond to play a voice recording. Sometimes it takes several presses to get my call sign to play, or the first press of a sequence ...

Re: RUMped review and ideas
A-ha! The mouse has to be over the main logging window. If it is inside the band map, it just scrolls the band map. I don't know how I missed that before. Fantastic!

Re: RUMped review and ideas
Ah, thanks for the tips....I missed the Club entry field, and also the Location (state). I don't have the touch pad on my computer, so tell me how to use the mouse scroll wheel to change the VFO? Is there a keyboard key to hold down to make it work? I can point and click the bandmap to change the VF...

RUMped review and ideas
Hello Tom and fellow contesters, I used RUMped over the weekend with the NAQP CW contest. Worked great! I have experience with N1MM, and I found that use and particularly set up of RUMped is a breeze compared to N1MM. It would always take at least an hour to remember how to set up the voice keyer an...

Re: New user, questions for ver 5.1
Having a lot of fun with this software. Here is another question: When RumLog is set up to "show info in browser" (see screen shot), the QRZ.com page opens in a new Safari window. Or a new tab, depending on your Safari prefs. The problem is, after doing a dozen call lookups, there are a do...

Hi Tom,
Thanks on your help...everything I questioned is now working correctly. I have been logged into the NC7J cluster for over two hours and it is still spitting out spots. Thanks! Chris
